Using The Spreadsheet
If you are using a tablet or mobile device, you cannot enter any data. However, you can browse the sheet to find values. Therefore, the ideal way to use this spreadsheet is by laptop or desktop computer.
Enter the number of items you donate in the Qty columns. Also, your totals will reset when you do. However, if when you enter a quantity field, you get an error. Simply change the quantity to 0 (zero).
You can export to many spreadsheet types including Exel. Also you can export to PDF or HTML. Choose “File” then “Export As”, then choose the your option.
You can print the table. Just choose “Save” then “Print”. Next, choose “Print Using Browser”. Then, choose Print Screen. Now you can print in your browser. Also, even if you enter no data, you can still print the sheet for a handy reference.
Sources of Donation Valuations
We got the data from lists at websites of charities. Then we placed a short code in the source column for each donation item. For example, we coded Salvation Army as “SA”. Specifically, look below to see a list of charity sites we used for values as well as a link to the source website.
